John Pele

Managing Partner

Born in California, John is a graduate of the Class of 1984

from Molokai High School. He also attended

the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

 
In the past John has worked at the Sheraton Molokai

in various capacities that include, dining room server, groundskeeper, bellman, banquet staff and musician.

He later began working for Molokai Ranch in 1994

and during his 15-year tenure at the Ranch

he held positions in shop maintenance, Purchasing Manager, Rooms Manager and eventually promoted to General Manger

of the Maunaloa Lodge Hotel Operations

where he remained until the closure

of Molokai Ranch in 2008.

Since 2009, John has been employed as the Resident Manager of Paniolo Hale Condominiums on the west end of the island.  He is also part owner of the Maunaloa General Store

since 2006 and a resident in Maunaloa

for the past 30 years.
